RCM Strategy Plus™
Asset Strategy Plus™

RCM Strategy Plus™ is a premiere software solution that completely captures EQL's process of performing RCM. This software allows your facility to quickly and easily analyze even the most complex system.

Asset Strategy Plus™ is the latest solution that integrates RCM with other behaviors of a world-class organization. In addition to including all of the functionality of RCM Strategy Plus™, it also allows users to build a complete asset hierarchy, perform equipment criticality analyses and generate monthly metrics reports based on CMMS documented performance.

EQL Toolkit™ is a unique, in-house software that is available free-of-charge for customer use. It allows Asset Management Team personnel to track progress of the asset management effort. It includes modules for:

  • Tracking asset inspection condition, including both before and after pictures,
  • Tracking the progress of RCM development,
  • Tracking the progress of PM identification,
  • Tracking the progress of Job Plan development, review and approval,
  • Tracking personnel training qualifications,
  • Tracking team assignment progress,
  • Documenting identification and distribution of pertinent technical bulletins,
  • Provides a tool for configuring and generating monthly metrics

Features of the equipmentLinks software:

  • Supports the SAE JA1011 Standard by addressing the seven basic questions of RCM
o What are the functions and standards of performance of the asset (functions)?
o In what ways can it fail to fulfill its functions (functional failures)?
o What causes each functional failure (failure modes)?
o What happens when each failure occurs (failure effects)?
o In what way does each failure matter (failure consequences)?
o What should be done to predict or prevent each failure (proactive tasks and task intervals)?
o What should be done if a suitable proactive task cannot be found (default actions)?
  • Provides a means for interfacing your RCM data with your CMMS.
  • Incorporates an approved risk matrix for calculating costs of failure and ranking consequences. The same risk matrix is used for generating the savings and benefit achieved by task selection and risk mitigation. Supports both Pareto and 80/20 risk management techniques.
  • Offers tremendous "streamlining" opportunities by leveraging equipment knowledge maintained in the associated “Equipment Library" module.
  • Offers an extensive "five-level security" system that allows users of all rights and capabilities to interact with the program.
  • Allows Supervisors to "approve" analyses, and maintains a complete audit trail of all work. Users can go "back in time" to view or retrieve earlier information.
  • Extensive user-defined capability. Organizations can define terminology to conform to their culture and any definitions unique to their organization or industry.
  • Provides links to the internet or other applications to be able to retrieve drawings, maintenance procedures, equipment manuals, or other equipment related items.
  • Provides users with automatic reports that assist with analysis, review and supporting documentation.

Additional Features

  • ODBC compliant, client-server application. Database architecture maps the most typical CMMS systems.
  • Extremely user friendly
  • Adapts to user's level of knowledge of RCM - users can perform RCM either "classical" or "streamlined", or various levels in-between
  • Easily IMPORTS and EXPORTS RCM information
  • Uses an advanced RISK CONSEQUENCE MATRIX to generate maintenance actions and task frequencies
  • Users are guided toward the most appropriate task frequency based on an understanding of the p-f interval, the cost effectiveness of the action, and the degree of risk or consequences associated with the highest ranking failure cause.
  • Contains a comprehensive fault tree analysis tool (FMEA Tree)
  • Grants five levels of security for data access and modification
  • Provides a unique association of maintenance actions to failure causes
  • Allows users to rapidly create and copy components
  • Provides an extensive approval process and audit trail with "snapshot" feature
  • Enables advanced links to condition monitoring and expert diagnostics
  • Contains robust reporting capabilities.
